Dr. Sheelah F. Estimable, originally from Queens, New York, spent her early years in Port-au-Prince, Haiti until 1997 before settling in South Florida. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Politics from Regis University in Denver, Colorado in December 2006, followed by her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in December 2009. Dr. Estimable completed her Doctor of Education degree in Higher Educational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University in June 2018, focusing her dissertation on the perspectives of Academic Advisors and students on educational pathways in various career fields. Presently, she serves as the Director of Employment Solutions at Broward College and is the co-owner, alongside her husband, and President of the Bensax Music Academy.

Born and raised in Haiti. She did her medical studies at Université Notre Lady of Haiti. She specialized in Ear Nose and Throat surgery in Haiti and did an additional year training in head and neck surgery in Mulhouse, France in 2015. Along with her medical and surgical background, she has a solid career in health project management as she worked for 8 years as a Maternal and Child health program director for Population Service International (PSH/Haiti) managing the following projects, oral rehydration, household water treatment, family planning, malaria prevention.

Licensed nurse for 11 years. My career started at Jackson Memorial Hospital in the trauma center then later I worked freelance in ICU and trauma. I currently hold a Master's degree in Health Informatics and work as a contractor for the VA Medical Center in software quality assurance and testing. Although I moved away from bedside nursing, my duty is to continually provide compassionate care, serve the community, and help others.--
